The article I read is called "Robots can now pick up any object after inspecting it" by Adam Conner-Simons and Rachel Gordon. The researchers that were creating the robot created a system that allows robots to see,and pick up objects they have never seen before without the help of humans. For example , someone might use DON to get a robot to grab onto a specific spot on an object, say, the tongue of a shoe. From that, it can look at a shoe it has never seen before, and successfully grab its tongue.
